Why We Built SevaVihar

We built SevaVihar because we needed it for our own parents.

Born out of personal experience, SevaVihar is on a mission to bring trust, transparency, and dignity to elder care at home.

Our Story

A few years ago, our founding team, a group of NRIs and urban professionals found ourselves facing the same sleepless nights you might be experiencing today.

Living miles away from our aging parents, we were constantly worried.

We tried local agencies. But what we found was deeply concerning:

  • No transparency
  • Unverified caregivers
  • No accountability
  • A system that treated elder care as a transaction, not a relationship
We wanted something very different. We wanted:
  • Real-time visibility into daily care
  • Structured and reliable support
  • Caregivers who treated our parents with dignity, patience, and respect

When we couldn’t find a service we truly trusted, we decided to build it ourselves.
